Hands on
It would suit the club to postpone and rearrange for 3rd May so that in the event of a home win they can keep my money for longer!
SavageTheBeast
Looks like we didn't put the pitch covers down wth the pitchfork in the middle. https://twitter.com/williamslcw/status/705669622129946624

Jaded, they will have of done nothing for 3 days, if the players are tired they need a reality check and see how they manage in the NHS A&E. Gaz_Oafc
30cm snow on the grass outside my office (hospital), the roads on-site are terrible and the snow plough cant keep up with the snow. Its snowed heavily non-stop even when the forecast said it should be raining.
Senor_Coconut
Yeah unless the sleet forecast for later turns into rain theres not a chance we'll play, roads and paths around Chadderton are a nightmare and it's still snowing heavily.
underdog
4/5 inches of snow here in Royton...deeper in Tandle hills. Could be in all day this.
Gaz_Oafc
"The Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice is in place until 3pm this afternoon (Friday)...But while it should stop falling from the sky, cold temperatures and a lack of rain on Saturday and Sunday means the sledging, snowman-building and snowball-throwing fun will last a while longer. Saturday will be sunny but still cold, with highs of just 7C, so any snow that has settled should remain." From the MEN

Let's hope it gets warmer a bit further East!
Aarondo Westy
Few of us planning on going offering our help. Just been told the club are turning people away who are turning up to help. Make of that what you want.

Make of that what you want. I make of it that the club are helping you out by telling you not to waste your time. Can't knock them for that... opinions4u
It'll be called off this afternoon. Then we don't have to pay Swindon's hotel bill.

Senor_Coconut
Because then they leave themselves open to moans about them calling a game off 25 hours early.

rudemedic
Doesn't the snow act as frost cover? So no point clearing away the snow to then have to put the frost covers back on. If there is a chance the snow needs to be cleared for the game to be on tomorrow, I'd expect the call for helpers to go out later tonight for tomorrow morning.
