I know it's already :censored:ed, but I was always lead to believe that was basically sacrilegious when trying to protect from snow damage...! opinions4u
SC will want the game on for cash flow reasons. I'd have thought the season ticket offer has eased cash flow pressure.
kowenicki
Snow is melting rapidly now. No problems with health and safety areound the ground by tomorrow but I presume there have be no covers on and so the pitch will be very heavy with water afterwards though. Game off probs. robboman
Might suit us if it's called off, if players need a rest

BP1960
Might suit us if it's called off, if players need a rest A rest? poor lambs, in non league they can play 3 times a week and still have to go to work. The successful Liverpool teams of the 70s played about 60 games with virtually the same team on pitches far worse than now.
BP1960
Can it be postponed on this evidence? http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ol1 Edited March 4, 2016 by BP1960

Maybe that's why the non-league players don't play as well as their league counterparts. Maybe Liverpool wouldn't do as well in this day and age but could enjoy some success as the opposition they were playing against weren't as good or as fit as they could have been. Rick Holden is always saying how much fitter players were in his day. He does talk some right old bollocks though.
Bunty Blue
Rearranged game probably a night match means smaller gate and less revenue. Thought we would try best to get it on.
