Blue_Guru
Amazing how bad his record is... Whoever appointed him at our club should have sleepless nights about that decision for the rest of their life. Couldn't have got it more wrong. Scapegoat
It is quite remarkable. It's rare that a new manager walks into a high performing confident team, but generally you'd be be expected to get a dead cat bounce at one of three clubs. JoeP
Amazing how bad his record is... Whoever appointed him at our club should have sleepless nights about that decision for the rest of their life. Couldn't have got it more wrong. We made a mistake in appointing him as a relative unknown, but Halifax and Hyde appointed him after he'd already shown how terrible he is. I think both of them trump us.

I moved from that after Halifax shambles. It was clear he had to move back into coaching for a bit and swallow his (remaining, err) pride. To take the Hyde job was just plain daft. Indeed he needs to go back to coaching in an academy somewhere even if he has aspirations of being a manager again in the future he simply hasn't properly learned his trade yet. JohnnyPimp
His record is getting steadily worse as he moves down the leagues. 'Dazzlers Under-9's Soccer Academy' awaits.

Stagger Lee
Hyde United FC was bought by its supporters a year ago and despite a disappointing season the Board has developed exciting plans that will transform the Club's financial position, integrate the Club's very successful Academy and develop a community programme that will generate a new generation of supporter involvement and significantly increased attendances. We are looking for a First Team Manager who has the experience and resolve to play a key role in the Club's future.Applications invited with a closing date of 19:00 on Friday 29th April 2016. Please email for the attention of the Board to... - From the Hyde website I would suggest that Kelly is now a 3 times in a season sacked manager! Hats off to him that is some achievement. But like Eddie the eagle if he keeps the dream alive I'm sure he will succeed one day. Maybe end up managing a team in the Euro cup one day, once he learns how to, in about 20 years like Linfield or Cobh ramblers after Martin McGuinness puts in a good word. maybe Edited April 23, 2016 by Stagger Lee
LaticsPete
I still don't understand the glee that some posters show about Kelly failing at other clubs. He was the wrong appointment for us but as far as I'm aware did nothing malicious towards Latics when he was here or afterwards The man is a human being, has had a lousy year and he and his family must be feeling rotten . He has tried to be a success at something he obviously loves and failed. Would any of us want to be in that position? Time for him to re-assess his ambitions probably, but also time for us to stop seeming to revel in his misfortune.
