Guest nonaenever
Gone up losing 16 games the same as us That is quite remarkable really - and shows the fine margins involved i.e. turn a draw into a win and this division is quite easy to get out of - oh what might have been ! rictic
A full ten points behind the third placed club who deserved to go up.
deyres42
A full ten points behind the third placed club who deserved to go up. Imagine how boring the leagues would be without the playoffs.
rictic
I don't recall it as boring in 62/63, 73/74 ect but it was fair. It's or rather was what happened over a full season.and by my reckoning Barnsley don't deserve to go up by ten points.
OLDHAMADE
A full ten points behind the third placed club who deserved to go up. They couldn't see us off so why on earth should they feel hard done by? Just goes to show that the little dwarf put the foundations in place and got that momentum going before leaving, Kept Bristol up with ease and as much as it pains me to say He deserves credit for that Edited May 29, 2016 by OLDHAMADE
underdog
Imagine how boring the leagues would be without the playoffs. Bloody hate them personally, as we became one of the first clubs to be done over by them when first introduced

Magic Mikey
Had a double at the start of the season for Middlesbrough and Baaaarnsley to both go up. Middlesbrough - based on my sound football knowledge. Baaarnsley - compensation for if that treacherous dwarf achieved something. He didn't take them up and I cash in. Double bubble. Now, should I roll my winnings onto Notts County for promotion?

HarryBosch
How high would Johnson's stock be now if he'd stayed there and finished the job? I don't think he'd have been in the frame for a job any bigger than the one he's now got... Not sure they would have gone up with him in charge. They were flying when he left....
