HarryBosch
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/10/premier-league-academy-teams-english-football-league-trophy-efl?CMP=share_btn_tw Oh so wrong but should add a bit of novelty to this abomination of a competition.... Will it count towards doing the 92 if you watch us play a clubs kids away?

SavageTheBeast
A :censored:ing group stage for the JPT that is going to cause massive fixture congestion
Magic Mikey
They held their AGM in Portugal! English golf courses too chilly for them this time of year?

adamoafc
Now that is something to boycott (unless we make the final) ?
bozman
I wonder who was representing us in Portugal, given that Corney has been over here interviewing?
al_bro
A :censored:ing group stage for the JPT that is going to cause massive fixture congestion The excuse for a restructured league of 4 divisions of 20 teams each was designed to cut fixture congestion. What a joke.
opinions4u
I've always liked the competition. Not anymore. I'm out.

BP1960
I wonder how many Burnley fans would turn up to watch their under 21s play at Wembley?
jsslatic
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. That's me out. I do hope there is some concerted effort among L1 and L2 fans to boycott. Even by the low JPT crowd standards, three figure crowds would hopefully send out a message. It may even force clubs to pull out themselves. GlossopLatic
I wonder how many Burnley fans would turn up to watch their under 21s play at Wembley? None I hope we field our under 7s and the group stage thing is a shambles an all. An utterly dreadful idea all round. oafc-latics
Group stage could be promising, but the U21 inclusion completely ruins it. They were going to push it through at some point, so now they've done it, hopefully it will go terribly and the B Team idea is buried. Oafc88
I absolutely hate missing games, even JPT ones, but this can :censored: right off. Won't be going to any game involving some :censored:ing academy team. Edited June 10, 2016 by Oafc88
thetramfixer
I've always genuinely believed that this was our only realistic (and I agree even that's a BIG ask!) chance of getting to Wembley, but this appears to be geared up to get younger premier league players THAT opportunity! ... adding even more prize money is a faint too .. like lower league clubs would ever see any of that .. all that said .. I'm sure the older ones amongst us remember the Broadway Stand and it's previous title as the Ford Stand? .. and especially the way we got it built .. could this be the same .. money aimed at specific people who fail to deliver, and then a rebuttal of " it doesn't suit our purposes anymore " and we're all back to as it was .. still, a truly :censored: idea IMHO! Ritchierich
What a joke, we should absolutely boycott this bull:censored: next season.....never mind three figure crowds, the only people attending should be the Mums and Dads of the youth team players we put out. i am starting to lose hope for the future of small teams
OAFCinWolves
Only way we will change it is by not going. They can bully the league 1 and 2 clubs but they can't make the fans go

OAFCinWolves
Signed it. Ironic a deal gets negotiated to take our young players for nothing then they want to play them against us...is that taking the piss
singe
Against League 3 is getting proposals together. It seems a mass boycott is beginning to take shape. A total boycott, especially Round 1 when media attention will be higher would send such a powerful message.
LeylandLatic
Football disgusts me more with every passing season.
disjointed
That's me out as well, hopefully most league teams fans will boycott,
RobOAFC
I'll probably attend the games we play against league clubs. Any matches against academies won't go.
