oafc1955
No idea because I can't believe Kelly would be revealing his salary to anyone.
yarddog73
I had read somewhere on Facebook a post quoting a salary of £5k a week had been agreed which would be roughly double what we were paying our top earner.
NewBlue
5k a week in L2 sounds unrealistic. There will be very few at this level on that money.
yarddog73
Orient had 3 players on 8-10k a week the season they went down so I think they are not afraid to splash a bit of cash.

Kelly's a half-decent player at our level but anyone willing to splash £5k/week could recruit someone a lot better (probably without the need to shell out a transfer fee). adamoafc
Think £200k for Kelly is about right given that Nicky arose has just signed for charlton for £800k

singe
Can anyone show me a deal revealed on any official website, that wasn't revealed on social media first? Would seem a good idea to reveal your current best player osis leaving around the time you announce your new manager...
SavageTheBeast
Close to 300k for a player in his last year of his contract is pretty good business in my eyes.

RobOAFC
Considering they had the likes of McAnuff, Simpson, Henderson etc on between £5k-£10k a week then I wouldn't be surprised if they was offering Kelly £3k-4k a week. pretty sure we got him for nowt as well IIRC the deal for Smith was £350k and Kelly was valued at £150k. Also, Smith was our (supposed) highest earner whilst here, around £2,200 a week apparently.
leeslover
Orient are aiming to go big on being a London club, and they're one of the few ones who are down the leagues. I've no idea if it's happening but I can so the sense in signing someone like Kelly with a view to him being in the middle of a team for a few years while they try a promotion rush. Monty Burns
Surely as someone with business experience you must pull your hair out at the idea that you would base what you would sell a company asset for on what you paid for it several years ago? #brasswanklogic
