Did McLaughin and the 3 trialists impress?

Couple of good pacy runs followed by blocked crosses from McLaughlin. Charles Dunne the triallist left back ex-Wycombe and Blackpool won man of the match and I agree he was excellent.

Mavila the ex West Ham right winger had a good game, pacy direct and looks to cross. In contrast the lad Martin was poor on the left wing. Edmundson again pretty dominant, Stott impressed alongside. Cassidy was a handful and Osei again caused problems needs to get his shot away earlier. Woodland was in and out of the game. Sadly as a Winchester fan he was poor again and blowing out of his after an hour, I think his time here is up.

Everton were good in possession but rarely threatened the first goal edmundson was done for pace in conceding the pen and the second we switched off completely as Garbutt played a simple ball in that was tapped home. Standout for them as McAleny on the right who was on loan at Wigan last season.

Left Back.

We had Charles Dunne (ex-Blackpool, released in June) play last night in the Lancashire Senior Cup as a trialist, he won "man of the match" on the night. Maybe there's a deal to be done here. No sign of Connor Brown at all.
