lincoln_latic
Nailed on Monday night TV game just to spoil it! I'd be surprised if the police don't ask for a Monday game as they'll be pretty busy with the Christmas market Fri-Sun

lincoln_latic
Is it even possible to get back to Manchester on train on a Monday night? Don't know mate. Lincoln's not on the main line. You might need to somehow get to Newark, which is on the mainline
LaticsPete
Last train to york - and that goes via Newark - is 9.40 The station is about 15 mins from ground so not much chance of catching it ?

NewBlue
:censored:ers. Nice to be on the telly, but Monday makes train virtually impossible. Probably reduces following by 2/3.
LaticsPete
Also means that draw for 3rd round will have been made before kick off . Takes away some of the magic

BP1960
After the replays apparently. Think it'll be a contest between Lincoln v Latics and Macc v Oxford for the 4th TV fixture. We are live on BT Sports on the Monday night.
nzlatic
£72,000 That's about 3 grand a week for someone signing in January til the end of the season.

Monty Burns
Following the moving of this tie to the :censored:test possible day, I would sadly like to withdraw my 'we will take 1000+ comment.' Take about 372 ?
Import
As a life long Imps supporter, who spend the thick end of 10 years working in the centre of Oldham. I couldn't have been more delighted with this FA Cup draw given I still work with a couple of Latic followers. I saw both encounters in the 98/99 season and still have vivid memories of freezing one gonads off in the Chaddy End. I also have a vague memory of watching the Imps play Oldham at Sincil Bank in the very early '70s too. I'm glad BT Sport have dipped and are showing the match live as I suspect irrespective of it being a televised match with the Christmas market it was always destined to be a Monday night fixture as save one occasion early in the life of the Christmas market the Imps alway play away that particular weekend. Monty Burns
I've got three season long bets on Forest Green so I've been paying attention to this division and I would rate this tie as just as tricky as tuesdays game at vale, if not maybe slightly tougher due how much the Lincoln players will want to win. Their fans will also be up for this too.
NewBlue
This now becomes one of the biggest games the club has had in the past 10 years, looking at our financial situation.

Guest nonaenever
Some decent football on show there, you trying to put the frighteners on us. agree - looks to be some very tidy players on show there - shows what talent might be available to tempt away at that level. Was going to take the easy option and watch this on tele - but decided the team might well need all the support they can get at the match - so Lincoln is a deffo away trip.
