NewBlue
I am 50 yards from the ground. Stunned it is off. There are kids playing on Little Wembley as we speak. Very shoddy... Only Latics...

pinevillawill
Then they are brain dead pricks. The blame lies with one person and his fork stabbing mates. How do you mute posters?

Surely experienced ground staff can tell if the pitch is likely to be frozen and pre-empt any decision a referee is likely to make?

OAFCinWolves
Don't get involved in the Corney bashing or the absolute defending of the club. But it does feel at the moment like we are on the edge of collapse. ?
kowenicki
How do you mute posters? Yeah it's Corneys fault. Stump.

NewBlue
Got to pay tribute to the clubs innovation - most would struggle to think of ways to project such an image of tinpottery on such a regular basis...
kowenicki
One :censored:ing home game between now and January!! Ha. Good point. But it's a nightmare financially. How do the league come up with 1 home game from the next 6!?

RobOAFC
Earliest date for it to be rearranged looks to be Tuesday 20th. Two home games week before christmas wouldn't be ideal for attendances though.

People need to think the game was called off because the whole pitch had been trampled by Corney and his evil frost making groundsmen
BP1960
SR “There was a small 5x5 hard patch but it was only half 12 when the referee made the decision". In other words the referee wasn't confident our ground staff couldn't make a 5x5 area playable after they had all morning and a further 3 hours after his inspection. It's beyond belief they couldn't have saved this match. Edited November 26, 2016 by BP1960
