Monty Burns
How long did we have Grant for? I only remember it being quite short term?
losesome
I was thinking that Boro may take him back and loan him to a championship side , but then again is he ever going to get as much practice as he gets here !!!

stargazer
Lee Grant was a terrific keeper for us , but as usual we could not afford him. He was leading the save percentage stats in the Premier League for Stoke before this weekends fixtures. Gary Kelly regularly played teams on his own and he was awesome at saving penalties. eyres_28
Les Pogliacomi, Gary Kelly & Lee Grant all make that choice far from easy. Ripley has been immense this season but has also made some howlers! We'd be fooked without him though. Couple of errors. Charlton and the squirmer against MK? I would say he is on a par with Kelly, better than Pogs and it's difficult to compare him to Grant as he's developed into a championship/prem GK, and that is impairing my judgement. I would say if he keeps up this form he could be at the top of that list. Complete keeper.

yarddog73
And even further behind Goram.
eyres_28
Absolutely but that wasn't the comparison! Post Prem there is no one who stands out as being better and those mentioned are the only that stand equal/get close.
yarddog73
Gerrard liked a howler or two but still a great keeper.
stargazer
howler or two......two passes to Sheringham against Spurs that went back into the net unless my memory is playing tricks.

Memory playing tricks. Never made a mistake in his Oldham career. Honest
