oafcprozac
I woke up in the shower this morning - the last year has all been a dream...
AnthonyOAFC
Unless the transfer embargo is lifted, it won't matter, but something had to change. 12 goals in 24 is only going to end badly.... Sometimes a manager and a group of players are just not compatible. Most of our lot are absolute crap. Hopefully, Sheridan can get something a bit more out of them. Andy Perimeter West
At least he can add saved again a club from relegation with some badge kissing and then leave again at the end of the season what a hero
sjk2008
Gerrard and Holloway are already done. Not sure on Main though.

athleticus
I don't think it is likely he can keep us up up but to be frank I am not sure anybody can. I think this is a worse squad than last year and there is no time to settle the team with the amount of new faces needed.

dannyboy55555
Lets face it, all he has to do is get us to score a goal to get off to a good start.

Nohairdontcare
I'm much more excited about my once or twice a year trip to Oldham for Latics V Millwall on February 25th now... if we go down we go down with a fight.
Magister
In the light of the club not commenting further could I suggest an alternative press release? "A proud old club under a transfer embargo and in its lowest position for 60 years has today appointed its 7th manager in 30 months after going cap in hand to an out of work former employee who is now at his 5th club in 18 months having lost his last 11 competitive games. The chairman however denied it was a low point in the club's history" Just saying, and retreating behind sand bags
BP1960
So we get compensation for Shez then bring him back 6 months later on probably less than what he asked for before he left?

Forte_Baby
Did Shez play him much, I can't remember? Like Robbo he said at a Q/A last year there was player in him who needed a rocket up his arse but was to much in his own comfort zone

Gaz_Oafc
Who will be the new coach? Shirtliff's been at a few of our games this season.
oafc1955
As long as we survive in this division and then put a proper plan in place to move the club forward it didn't matter to me who replaced Robbo. It doesn't feel quite the same this time around with Shez but I'm just glad the club have made the change as this has without doubt been the worst period I have ever experienced supporting this club in nearly 60 years! It will be interesting to see if Shez can have the desired effect on a group of players that have woefully under achieved under Robbo. I just hope this brings an end to the hire'n'fire philosophy of recent seasons and that we can get the club's lapsed fans back on side, a goal or two and a few wins would be a start!! deyres42
The statement didn't scream long term plan to me, early days though.
