So I'm going to conservatively say that the boards were on the way in January, but we hadn't paid the deposit until after they were installed. For avoidance of doubt, there's no need for anyone who thought that that statement made the Trust look stupid to issue a retraction Edited April 20, 2017 by leeslover

Read it again. It doesn't confirm anything. "It is our understanding" . They can believe what they want just like everyone on here does. Doesn't make it fact. How do you know it wasn't ringfenced? That would explain club statements clearly contradicting each other

View Of Golden Gate
Remember when people could disagree on issues and not act like children? We all want is best for the club, those who dislike and distrust SC have a right to express their views without being considered doom mongers, those who support him have a right to as well. Those who are supporting him, carry on doing so, but do not be immune to asking questions, is not possible the money dried up long ago and now we really feeling the pinch? Those who want him gone, is it not possible that he has done his best but made mistakes rather being an asset stripper and about to drive us out of business due to greed? Not sure your last 2 paragraphs provide the balance and contrast you hoped? Both describe benevolence overtaken by circumstances? There are several other reasonable but unproven alternatives

yarddog73
As a self confessed pessimist I really don't consider this will cause us any problems let alone points deductions or relegation. Edited April 22, 2017 by yarddog73
Simpo
Posted a bit info from today's programme in another thread. I don't say much on here about the running of the club, but my thoughts are this. Dislike the man all you want, that's fair enough, we're all entitled to our opinions and we're all Latics fans at the end of it all. But come out with accusation after accusation to Simon Corney, and don't back it up with solid evidence and/or a no strings attached meeting with the chairman, then I have no time for you. With love and good intentions, enjoy the game, keep the faith, - Simon B Edited April 22, 2017 by Simpo
opinions4u
My understanding is that next season's fixtures is the cut off point for when any administration points deduction would apply to this season.

It was reported in one of the National papers yesterday ( can't remember which as I read several whilst waiting for a flight) that Bolton are soon to be issued with a winding up petition over a debt of £5 million owed to a company called Bluemarble Capital. I think that is the loan made to Houldsworth so he could 'finance' his part of the deal. Bolton have to go up or they are in serious trouble.
