GlossopLatic
You have to wonder what hes going to do with himself for the next 12 months. He appears to be the type of guy who keeps the wrong company and the devil makes work for idle hands he could go down a slippery slope. Stevie_J
Bit harsh the not training with anyone. Whilst he has been an idiot, not even allowing him to train with anyone for 12 months could easily see him end his career. I've got no sympathy for him. He lied his way out of a hefty ban last time. Hope that he comes back a more focussed and grateful player. If so, he's always got a home at BP, for me.
leeslover
I speculated last time about whether giving a rich young man whose hobbies include taking recreational drugs and shagging girls with big tits the summer off was much of a punishment

Diego_Sideburns
One for Terry... Diego Cervero scored the equaliser for Oviedo today in the draw that saw them take the second div title in Spain. Some photos from a while back... It’s the end of an area with Diego Cervero leaving Real Oviedo, where he was Club captain and will always be ‘God’, and signing for CF Fuenlabrada in the Segunda Division B Group 1. Fuenlabrada is near Madrid and the Club has a stadium named after Fernando Torres, who was born there. Good luck Diego!

He appears to be the type of guy who keeps the wrong company and the devil makes work for idle hands he could go down a slippery slope. It seems very strange for the football authorities to do this in this day and age. Surely the last thing he needs is boredom & loads of time on his hands. He's made his own bed but shouldn't they have some duty of care not to impose a punishment that is pretty likely to exacerbate his problem? Fair enough he can't play but he should surely be able to train if a club wants to take a gamble on him for 12 months time..? Surprised the PFA haven't stuck their oar in.... Monty Burns
That's a very good point. I suspect it is a 'we don't want his type in our game' type attitude which has prevailed here.

He openly lied to them when he got caught the first time. They were lenient on him with the first punishment but then the idiot went out and did it again! They have made an example of him and rightly so. It is not up to them to keep him on the straight & narrow. If the lad has anything about him he will keep himself out of trouble, keep himself fit and make contact with clubs for 12 months time. I'm sure if he appeals he will be allowed to train well before the 12 month ban ends. To be caught a 2nd time though....no sympathy!

I read somewhere he turned up to pre-season looking about 20 stone but he's got some sort of heart condition hasn't he? Wondering if the weight gain could be due to the medication he might be on?
