What a dumbfounded statement. If you are dumbfounded by that I guess that you find yourself dumbfounded quite frequently.

You could see it in many of the games. I agree. I'm not saying we'd have been doing as well as we are but I reckon we'd have been ok. There wasn't that much wrong 70 minutes in at Rotherham and pretty much everyone was still onside and right behind him. Right now it feels like it's all worked out for the best but, we'll never know....

Gerrard getting constantly skinned, Clarke playing despondently, The defence having no confidence in Ben Wilson who flapped at everything. You had Holloway playing with lead in his boots, the midfield standing off and Banks strolling around the pitch. McLaughlin couldn’t beat a man. Nothing but long balls with no winning of the second ball. You are utterly clueless if you saw potential in those games and I suggest you go back and watch them Do you want to finish your rundown with the players who were doing well? I'll start you off with Davies.....
L1onheartNew
My take: Shez Oddity Clown control to Major John. Clown control to Major John. Pay your bar tab bills and drive to Rotherham. Clown control to Major John. (ten, nine, eight, seven, six) My nervous breakdown’s almost on (five, four three) Check formation should we go with 5-3-2? (two, one, kick off) This is clown control to Major John, The players have just been paid. And the papers want to know who’s scoring where, Now it’s time to leave the Latics if you dare. This is Major John to Clown Control, We’ve just conceded four. And we’re playing in a most peculiar way, All my stars look very different today. For here, am I thinking in my tin can, Dan came off too soon. Through and through I’m blue, And there’s nothing I can do Though I’ve cost one hundred thousand pounds, I’m feeling very chill. And I think my payslip knows its going to grow, Tell the fans I love them very much; they know. Clown control to Major John, Your work is dead, we’ve lost five-one! Can you hear me Major John? Can you hear me Major John? Can you hear me Major John? Can you “Here am I driving in my tin can On the M62. Through and through I’m blue, And there’s nothing I can do. Good luck Shez. Thank you for everything.
robboman
Shez two biggest mistakes this time round: not playing Placide - most prob out of stubbornness playing gerrard with Clarke - most prob out of loyalty if he didnt do the above, he’d prob still be here

However, even if Shez had given in to popular demand by selecting Placide and dropping Gerard, i dont think that he would have even have considered replacing the latter with Bryan. That for me has been the masterstroke. We now have pace in defence and Byrne and Gardner have so much time and space in midfield. Every piece now fits snuggly and it paints an awesome picture. Bringing Fane back in to do that job has helped solidify us that little bit. How close Sheridan was to spotting this and turning this round we dont know he could have been prepared to give it those tweeks given time we dont know what his mindset was. Just to add he started us on a record breaking consecutive scoring streak in this league, with the team he assembled.
