The mad thing is, even though we are near the bottom of the league, I am enjoying the football as we are scoring freely.

And of course they are very good. If we can sign them it will be great. One could almost be forgiven for thinking that they are actually bona fide Oldham players... For all the "theorists" out there; when is a "loan" not a "loan"? The consistency of their first touch is a joy to behold and something i havent seen since the likes of Andy Ritchie. Brilliant cloak and dagger from Wellens with Doyle's supposed injury. He fooled us all. Exquisitely underhanded. It now gives us an edge for the rest of the season as the opposition will have no idea how to set up. Yes, but "we dont know the extent of Connor's injury just yet" doesnt really have the same impact as "Doyle's out with a pulled muscle" on the opposition's tactics. Lags
Loved Wellens cheeky smile during the ifollow after match interview when it was mentioned about Doyle playing. That for me said Wellens knew his con worked.

What shez did was sign players and not announce them until the team sheet was handed in. That also worked like a dream 2 years back against Shrewsbury
24hoursfromtulsehill
Watch that interview again from 6.35 onwards. Or just watch the whole thing again. Wellens is the worst bluffer in the world. Eyes AOTS, scratching the chin, shifting about in the seat. He has the tells of a child telling a story.
