sjk2008
If it wasn’t obvious we needed to keep Doyle and Bryan for the season before the game, then it quite clearly should Be now. Defensively atrocious and Davies & Holloway missing sitters.

Teams are made to play even if virtually the entire first team squad is injured. And now Bristol Rovers have equalised, it's pushed us down to 16th. Brizzle's goal chalked off, but still 16th on goal difference Edited December 23, 2017 by Bristolatic

Bristolatic
Meanwhile, the blue half of Manchester have banged another 4 in. They will be on target for 100 League goals this season. But who cares?
deckyd
If there is a genuine illness then we can hide behind that for an excuse. Dont blame the players today so much because our formation/shape in the first half was terrible, down to the manager. If we start with the side that started the second half may well have been a different score today. Havent been this annoyed since we threw away lead at MK Dons. Believed until team sheets were released that we would win this by 2 or 3.

Oh Heck C-Beck
Despite the performance we've still had enough chances to get somehting from this. Some poor finishing today.
L1onheartNew
Best I have seen Flynn play ever. Worst I have seen Byrne play ever. Dummigan keeping his stock topped up. Gardener below par. Davies unlucky Holloway back to goal for a striker only two yards out is criminal Wilson is not Bryan

oafc1955
A dire and unexpected result, It will be interesting to find out our fitness levels pre match because Plymouth had averaged less than a goal a game at home before today and had only 3 wins from 11. L1onheartNew
Had Davies (excellent save) and Holloway (criminal miss) scored, we probably would have gone on to win. They didn't, we didn't. Tbf, we should have been 4-0 down at HT. Edited December 23, 2017 by L1onheartNew

I was referring to comments on the Loanees thread where the focus is primarily on retaining Byrne and Doyle. For me, him and Jonny are our attacking catalysts. He can also defend a bit. Chris Richard
One step forward, two steps back. Buried Northampton and then this! Doyle and Bryan missing and we get tonked! I'd be on the phone to Preston and City to extend those loans now!
