Let's see how he gets on if he moves on then. Could take your point if there'd been great shows of petulance or whatever but there hasn't been, in fact all his teammates seem to love him. Biggest crime seems to be wanting to be the main man which is not a bad attribute to have in my eyes. He's been brilliant since day 1 and we'll be doing very well to find one as good. I'd have Matt Palmer in for him every day of the week and he'd come at half the price.

Pretty sure he wouldn’t as he starts most weeks for burton in the league above.
BP1960
A couple of strikers not starting with their clubs are James Vaughan and Paddy Madden.

Isn't Vaughan out injured for the rest of the season? Or have I confused him with someone else?

Well Blackburn didn't want him (terminated season long loan). Wigan do not want him (after giving him a 3 1/2 year deal in 2017)and now it seems we are not overly keen-so who is doing something wrong? Maurice Maurice
Gardner takes 3 touches when 1 would suffice .

Not sure why yesterday of all the games I noticed it more but it was frustrating the hell out of me and I could see Wellens doing his nut at people not playing with their brain and not doing simple things. He was particularly giving Gardner a lot of stick about how he was complicating things all over the pitch. Holloway is another that seems to make things so complicated when to many fans he doesn’t do the simple things that you’d expect. My thoughts anyway! ✌️ RW needs to get through to Gardener to keep it simple, get closer to the opposition penalty area and not take so long winding up to fire in shots at goal, which usually result in being blocked or wide. Hes an excellent striker of the ball, but needs to use the snapshot technique more often. Apart from that he's looked jaded, maybe not recovering from his illness as quicky as hoped. On the other hand isn’t it refreshing to have a player who takes time because he wants to pass it forwards and make a positive contribution
