We might not be able to replace him with 1 player however with 3 -4 coming in and 3-4 going out between now and the 31st of jan we may well have a stronger squad than the one in October. If we do good business this window their is no reason why we cant have a similar kind of second half season run as the last 2. I suspect that the Latics are not the only team to have experienced this phenomenon. If the lack of Doyle is influencing the formation and tactics Wellens employs then it all makes sense.
