losesome
Plymouth going for the playoffs, shows what a poor league it is. Offered nothing yet going forward, nearly as bad as latics!!!

Ryan
Charlton can afford to lose on Saturday, they have a 6 better goal difference than Plymouth and also more goals scored. Not good for us.
latics22
Worst result possible, there hardly going to be up for it, risk injury, they will prob rest players ?

Not good for us. Being pedantic if Plymouth were to win on Saturday and turn a six goal deficit round then they would probably have more goals scored than Charlton. Also of concern is that if they lose and finish sixth they will get Shrewsbury in the play offs which could be seen to be preferable to Rotherham or Scunny
losesome
Listened to Lee Bowyer yesterday on radio, says he wont even watch game tonight as not interested in result. Only thoughts are concentrating on winning Saturday!!!

Scunthorpe are 2 points clear scoring 6 more goals and conceding 1 less. Can see them resting players to be honest.
Magic Mikey
Charlton aren't going to want to go into the playoffs on the back of a defeat to a team in the relegation places. They'll be going for a win.
Kusunga_Is_God
Can't see us winning Sat so hope Charlton get a result. Think Rochdale might just be more up for it then them or us.

losesome
There is no way Charlton will go into the game not looking to win it. They can't settle for a draw because they know one moment from Dale could lose them the game. Then imagine how they would feel if they find that Plymouth have won 5-0. With even the slightest chance of being caught then Charlton will want to win.
sjk2008
Charlton will want to be going into the playoffs with some momentum for sure.

stargazer
Tonight's results as bad as could be. Only one option left, a bit left field perhaps.......but a first league win for a month would do nicely ...........trusting this shower to get a win ......gulp. We had to do better than Dale whatever. Make little or no difference. edit. Makes zero difference. We would have needed to win to get above them both, if we win we stay up anyway by being above Dale. It affects Dale, not us. Also, people saying Charlton won’t be up for the win are crazy. Edited May 1, 2018 by kowenicki

joe_lead
Tonight's happened we can't change it. Need to focus now on what we can control and that's by winning our final match. To all those going give them your best support and give them an extra shout for those of us not going. Remember to cut them some slack when mistakes happen or even if we go a goal or two down, it's only the score after 90 minutes that counts. After that simply drink and enjoy. kowenicki
Miserable sods. We might not win, but expecting a Dale win is also a bit silly. Their recent record is almost as bad as ours. 1 win in 7. Charlton are in good form. KTF.

Tonights results don't make a blind bit of difference. They could only have been drawn in to the relegation battle if both ourselves and Rochdale won. If we win we stay up in either situation. It makes no difference to us.
