From what he said, it sounded like it was bullying and he didn't even mention the anti-English thing. Sounds like Bellamy is acting true to form.. fleetwood Blue
Old school coaching wont work anymore, only the nicey nicey approach with players being pampered to and agents involved with their well being.. The game has changed , to the extent where Yaya was ready to leave City a couple of years ago because he didnt recieve a birthday card.. obviously Bellamy has always been a nob so i fully believe he is a bully.. Edited January 2, 2019 by fleetwood Blue Missed the bellamy bit
Monty Burns
Yaya got a card. It was a cake he wanted. . In his defence he didn’t want to eat it tho, he just wanted one.

Now come on, play fair. As Monty says, it was a cake that Yaya was after. I'm not sure his career ever recovered from the monstrous injustice he suffered

The Welsh on the whole seriously dislike the English (lived in Wales all my life) personally don’t understand it. Remember being in the local pub back home, England v Australia where on and several of the Welsh where dressed in Australia shirts looking for a reaction. Also went to another pub, group of 6 of us who wanted to watch England during the Euros and they just said we would never show England games in here. Weird because the pub essentially only trades due to the tourism from England. Weird mentality but hey ho The entire concept of sectarianism, nationalism, racism, sexism... all the isms... are deeply flawed once you strip away the layers of fear and prejudice which form their foundation. Unfortunately, centuries of history shows us that when there is (rising, especially) inequality those feelings flourish and people misplace their own, often legitimate, fear in an ism of one kind or another. Worse still, predatory people use those fears to push their own agenda - be it political, social or most often greed. Personally, I feel we're going to look back fondly on the pre-2020 age as being just the tip of an iceberg. We may not see the previously-experienced extreme examples (world wars, famines, genocides)... but we just may.
