Londonboy
Common topic of conversation on here lately has been our lack of flexibility in midfield. So what's would be the best midfield 4 you have seen play for us over the years Mine would be Alan Groves Shez Mike Milligan Carl Valentine Oh we can dream..... Monty Burns
I would be playing a 352 or a 451, cos I’m like that, so I can go Eyres, Redfearn, Shez, Spike, Holden. ??

You mean you missed yeserday's scripted nil nil with Northampton that sent both Dale and Walsall down? Midsblue
Adams, Milligan, Henry, Holden - probably the best I watched Josh Low, Paul Murray, John Eyre, David Eyres - one I remember fondly in early 00s. When we scored 6 against Mansfield with Wijnhard scoring 4.

LaticMark
Yes, it has to be Adams, Milligan, Henry, and Holden. With apologies for putting Neil Redfearn on the bench!

the_mighty_bosh
Liddell Wellens McDonald Taylor was a really well-balanced midfield. I don't remember many teams before the late 90's although Shez, Dux and Eyresy are probably the best I remember from those days.

Not questioning your memory, but in mine Liddell, Wellens, Taylor all played in the same team as Eyres. I’ve not got him as a late 90’s player? I have had lots of head injuries over the years tho, so ?
