ghostofcecere
Player contracts usually run until the end of June. This means that even though we have released players we will still be paying them until the end of June. This will also apply to Jose Baxter who will have agreed “in principle” to join us when his contract expires at Everton.

Transfer window is open so players can sign at any time.

It still came from the Scum newspaper did it not? Doesn't take much to run with another Journo's story or ideas to get a story published. Ryan
Do you honestly think that the most popular newspaper in the country has a vendetta against a small League 2 club? It’s worrying imo. Why is the club struggling financially when the wage bill has been significantly reduced in recent weeks and season ticket money has just come through? Questions need asking by the Trust. Other clubs are signing players saying that they have agreed to join from the first of July. This is normal practice at this time of the year. Clubs cannot sign players until other players contracts have expired. It’s early days yet. Banks has left to go to Tranmere however we are still paying him until 1st July Edited June 1, 2018 by Smiler13
Ryan
The 5 loanees returned last month. Bryan, Doyle, Benyu, Pringle and Nazon would’ve been a significant proportion of our wage bill.

Also we are committed to pay their salaries until 1st July. Even if they where loans. That’s why Bryan has been seen still training at the club. I'm not suggesting a vendetta, mearly citing that it's odd that these rumblings always seem to be publised by the same illumini ie it always gets brought to the attention of the public by order of the Scum and it's cronies. No other paper runs this shit. So who internally is flinging the mud? Mud sticks.

Players released will hardly be on decent money. Loan players would be surprised if we are paying any of there wages.

Ryan
In previous years the cash flow issues have always come a couple of months after the season has started, until the solidarity payments hit in January, and then a couple of months before the season starts until we start selling early bird season tickets. Dark clouds indeed... Edited June 1, 2018 by Ryan

Kusunga_Is_God
No cash flow at all. OEC is the OEC, club shop is open once a week and majority of the takings go to the Sports direct. Best hope for some mega Home friendlies for any chance to stay afloat.
