Diego_Sideburns
NOTE: This information may be out of date in an ever-changing world. Broadhurst Park, 310 Lightbowne Rd, Moston, Manchester, M40 0FJ If fans need to be segregated then the Lightbowne end is allocated to away fans, where 500 fans can be accommodated. This end is comprised mostly of a flat standing area (no terracing) and the roof covering is set back from pitch-side. This lack of terrace may cause a problem for some in viewing the match, especially if there is a large away support. The ground is still in parts a work in progress, so portaloos are in evidence and catering outlets are brought in on matchdays. How to get there: See the Club’s travel information: http://fc-utd.co.uk/travel_hub.php Where to drink: There is a large fans’ bar located at the back of the St Mary's Road Terrace, which is open to both home and away fans. The bar serves its own real ale called Broadhurst Ale, which is brewed by a local microbrewer. If fans are not segregated then it is also available to all supporters at half time. The nearest pub is the Gardeners Arms on Lightbowne Road. This large pub is only a ten minute walk away and offers real ales from JW Lees. Otherwise there is the Blue Bell Hotel on Moston Lane, which is just under a mile away from Broadhurst Park. This is a traditional pub that serves real ales by Holts. It also has the added benefit of having BT Sports, Sky television and offers free match parking too. Behind the home end just off St Mary's Road in Teddington Road is the Miners’ Social Club, which also has a cafe attached. Normally away fans are admitted, but for some high profile games it only allows in home supporters. If arriving at Newton Heath Metrolink, then very near to the stop is the Railway Hotel. This Joseph Holts pub also has BT and Sky Sports television and a free shuttle bus is availableon Saturdays to take fans on the short journey up to Broadhurst Park. There is also another Holts Pub called the Broadway in New Moston, on Nuthurst Road which is around a 15 minute walk away. The Broadway also offers free match-day parking. Ryan
£12 in for this one. That's more than they charge for a league game - glad to see them sticking to their socialist principles...

nzlatic
They're £12 a league game this season I'm told. Not updated their website yet though. Still, same price as a league game is pretty questionable.

24424
Yep, £22 on the night, £20 in advance. Many of us TRFC fans wouldn't touch this friendly with a barge pole, and it is more of a money making exercise by overcharging Wirral based LFC supporting teleclappers, who wouldn't normally get to see "their" team. They actually let off flares and invaded the pitch when they beat us last pre-season, such was their excitement. ? I agree though, ripping off the telepudlians aside, it is a really poor show to charge that much for a friendly,, although in hindsight, it would have been worth going just to see Karius make another howler, which resulted in a social media meltdown amongst their lot ? yarddog73
Probably not if they are advertising the Beer Festival because that will be in the home end, view is dogshit from the 'away end' it's a path behind the goal.
