But we as a team are probably better off without him. We got relegated with him in the side last year so he’s not that special. We have Baxter now we would have struggled to get them both in an effective side
Ryan
It’s well documented that Bunn wanted Jack back out on the pitch. Why didn’t he stand up to the chairman on this one? He should’ve demanded that if Jack is sold his wages will be reinvested into the playing squad after the mass of cuts this summer. If you really loved our club and the fans you’d have shown some backbone. Fucking coward. Lemsagam and Bunn want to pray that Baxter doesn’t get injured this season. As soon as he does we’ll be seriously lacking in creativity and it’s going to turn toxic very quickly with the style of football we are playing. You reap what you sow. Jack was a special talent wrongly deployed by that cretin Wellens, he deserved another chance. There’s no way Jose is getting through 46 games either. philsalt
There appears to be a decent collective spirit amongst the current starting XI and i am always reminded of Byrne’s arsey celebrations at the end of last season, gesturing towards Wellens after scoring in response to starting on the bench or being played out of position. He’s a talent, but he was inconsistent last season. If anything, Bunn has created a hard working and happy team and I doubt very much of Byrne would have fitted into that. Byrne wasn’t getting through it either then, he’s had same pre season as Jose

Maybe Bunn didn’t want it enough at the expense of his current squad, imminent loan signing, relationship with chairman. It’s hard to see what Byrne would have done pre season with the youth team to justify Bunn risking his wider aims as manager.

LaticMark
Very short statement on the fishal site. I presume as a free agent he can join another club, even though the transfer window has closed? Just hope it's not another League 2 club.
losesome
Better off without him, no player is bigger than the club. Baxter & Byrne would struggle to play in the same team and I would rather have Baxter. We got relegated with Byrne in the side so he's no great saviour. Time to move on .
