oafcmetty
Any thoughts on the makeup of this competition? They've been making it slightly more exotic each year recently, and now have teams from the following involved: Scottish championship-L2 (x30) Scottish non-league (x8) U21s from Scottish Prem (x12) NI Premiership (x2) Welsh Prem (x2) League of Ireland (x2) English National League (Sutton, Borehamwood) Seems like a merger with the Checkatrade could be the next logical step? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018–19_Scottish_Challenge_Cup
Dave_Og
Too bizarre to even contemplate thinking about

Forte_Baby
I would love to see this merge or replace the Checkatrade. The English clubs would take great numbers to games. Home games I fear would be a case of two stands open. As a lot of these teams from Scotland in the lower leagues struggle to get more than 500. Cannot imagine the away support being great or make much revenue.
Monty Burns
It won’t happen because it would cost too much to police.
