Very surprised the trust have just pretty much said ok to players being paid late even if it is a daily expenditure cap, can that be further explained?? If a business has the money in a bank account to pay bills the bank won't impose such a limit.

I was implying that the bank couldn't release funds outside the company's credit limit (as in they actually don't have the required amount in the bank). Sorry I was a bit vague. Jimbooth
I suppose it could be that he's transferring the money in from a bank overseas, some banks limit the daily transfer amount on that. But surely he should have the foresight to transfer it in advance over a few days....

singe
Surely the main reason for an expenditure cap is not enough funds in the account the first place?

kowenicki
Regularly had to phone to get HO approval to cash players salary cheques back in the late 80’s at the TSB. Players weren’t really aware, just left them stood at the counter. It’s nothing new for Latics.
