Bluemonday
How many defenders do we have on our books now?
Crusoe
Edmundson (for now), Hamer, Iacovitti, Sefil, Stott and Swaby-Neavin. I'd guess only Hamer and Iacovitti would be first choice starters from that lot.
kowenicki
Best for all concerned. Desperately poor for most of last season.
youngen
Ive no idea what the mutual termination is, but surely as a young player he was a sellable asset?! These sort of decisions are always bizarre to me. Sure there was some interest in January in him?

So, we keep him and pay a (presumably) large wage, or agree a settlement to end the contract early. Not surprised.

Bristolatic
Didn't Lincoln want him in January? Then there was was some (alleged) shenanigans between our glorious leader and Hunt's agent, which pretty much ended his chances here. If that's true and that's how he was treated, no wonder his form dipped. He couldn't have been a happy camper.
leeslover
Profoundly average player
Dave_Og
Wonder if there is a 'release on' clause.

League 1 at absolute best IF he pulls his finger out. Bang average league 2 player based on last season. Not sure he was happy in the North to be fair to him.

Don't know if it was just a clash of personalities with the owner ( which would obviously be the favourite excuse ) or that he lacked a bit of character to ignore his dispute and perform on the pitch when selected. Whatever the reason he had a poor season overall and has been a major disappointment.
yarddog73
Didn't work out for all concerned but wouldn't be surprised to see him performing well in League 1 or 2 next season.

AL got wind of it and stopped managers from playing him. Could have carried on playing him and sold him on, now we've had to release him and cost us more.

deyres42
50% was going to Brighton so probably not missed out on much if you are concerned with those kind of things.

He said he didn't interfere with team selection.

At least we are coming to mutual agreements with players as opposed to firing them if they fart in the dressing room resulting in them taking us to employment tribunals, it might actually represent progress that we've parted terms in an honourable fashion. LT_SMASH
Great bit of business from our leader. Could have gone to Lincoln for a fee in January, instead gets frozen out of the side till the end of the season, then we release him
wiseowl
Hunt was excellent when we had him on loan. A big disappointment when we signed him permanently and particularly poor last season - too lightweight. Been one of his biggest critics of late but I do actually think he's better than this league (he showed he was when on loan). As someone else has said, maybe he hasn't settled up north - such things can throw people off their game. A good move for both parties.
