At rightback we have Sutton, Yarney and Shelton so options there as well, I still think we may bring in a right back but we do have options. Irrespective of whether Yarney stays, I still believe that we need to sign a top class centre back. Someone like Shaun Hobson at Southend would fit perfectly We also need to bring in a specialist right back/wing back if we are serious about winning this league

Hope he stays and repays the loyalty we showed on rescuing him from oblivion. He doesn't owe us shit. We offered him a contract and he took it. He did a good job, which we paid him for. He's in literally zero debt to the club in any way whatsoever.

When the longest most footballers (unless you're at Chelsea) get offered is a two year contract then long term potential is pretty irrelevant. andy_b_100
Thats a great move by the club as I diont think he was treated right by 'those who shall not be named' and would love him to be as successful as he was as a player with the academy.
