The possible effect on morale's been mentioned a couple of times. I think it'd be a nice problem to have for once.

I think its a case of striking a fine line between having a squad with good depth and one which is bloated. You can't have too many players kicking their heels doing nothing it won't be good for the overall atmosphere.

But if you want to get promotion you need more than a good 1st 11 you probably need 2 good 11's to sustain it you over a season. I think we will see a couple more go out and a couple more come in before we open in August.

With us signing a CB today I wonder if Hogan will be 1st choice or we could end up playing 3 at the back. Either way its great to see us having several options in different positions on the pitch. Rather than looking round for players who can "do a job" we have several specialists in a few positions.

I love his hair.

Was going to say he's abit too good looking for an experienced centre back. Remember in the old days where they were big ruddy faced bastards who had a bent nose and a few teeth missing.

Could be another pinch me season of sorts,

We're really going for it and these player's being signed must think they'll be playing in League two next season.

Feeling very positive now and many thanks to Frank and the Royle's for making this happen, WE'RE BACK!

Does it concern anyone that Dallas and his agent may be playing the same game that Yarney tried to play? Surely by now either us or Chesterfield should have closed the deal…..wouldn’t surprise me if he pops up in L2

Rumours are that Gillingham's move for Alfie May may have stalled.

They were in dialogue with Dallas before they settled on May...

A League Two club spoke to him, but were told he wanted to sign for Chesterfield. His agent is seemingly moving the goalposts every day and he now looks set to sign for Oldham...

Yeah fair point he was a handsome bastard but he was Italian was thinking your 70's and 80's lower league league British Centre back who'd head the kitchen sink who'd finish his career and go and run his local pub. I'm sure someone can bring up some good examples.
