Sounds like Dolan feels like he has a point to prove aslong as he stays away from trouble of the pitch (and it looks like he's changed his ways in that regard) and does his best on it then that's all we can ask for him really.

The latest bid is 6 figures with a structured deal. We want it the player wants it we have to wait for their replacement

Lags
Good interview from both Dolan and Mellon after the signing. Both address his previous issues so no hiding it. Welcome home Callum keep ya head down and do the business.

As a backup, can we insist he gets a lift everywhere? (JOKE! )

Crusoe
Doubt it’ll be much. At league level rules are predefined based on time with the club, appearances, etc. I think it maxes out in the mid-five figures. Not sure what rules apply in the National League but it won’t be any higher. Edited August 23 by Crusoe

League one forever
Does anyone feel like a decent side is being built? In the last two seasons, it’s been very splash dash. 6 centre halves, 6 strikers, one winger, no right back. The balance of this squad is so so much better, with really good options now. We’ve been let down so many times, but I genuinely think we’re in for a really good season.

Players appear to be being brought in to do a job, they need to fit, improve us or give us something we don't already have I'd say we have two very good teams which will hopefully translate in to a decent squad. Only worry for me would be an injury to Hudson and maybe the Reid/Kitching situation.

Mellon must think Maloney is better the Norman so we have adequate cover there. I think the Kitch/Reid thing won’t be as prevalent now, MM has a lot of ‘his’ lads now and if they start I think they’ll be quickly ostracised.
