Worcester Owl
1 hour ago, yarddog73 said: No we wouldn't that's just not true is it, we probably had our best run of the season when he was out of the team and when he returned he scored one goal against Chesterfield (only game for me he gave a shit about), we are also winless when he's played in our last 13 games. Now I was looking forward to what James might add this season with a fresh start but it appears Mellon has seemingly had enough of his attitude and tbh I can't blame him, he isn't a team player it is as simple as that and I'll be surprised if anyone takes him off our hands. If it is the case that his attitude has riled MM too far, and so he's been transfer listed, then I think I'd take that as a positive sign in terms of how MM is trying to rebuild the squad and the kind of character he wants to instil in the side. A shout out to @League one forever also if Norwood has gone too far - L1F was a critic of Norwood's team spirit earlier than most of us. I didn't agree originally, but if these rumours are true then he sussed him out a while ago.

yarddog73
My information is that he won't play for us again, I've heard it off a couple of pretty reliable sources now. I'm presuming if correct that Mellon is happy with the situation.

If we'd picked up Devante Cole instead of him we would have won promotion, not been relegated.
League one forever
Rumours he’s training with Bradford. (Given he’s ‘injured’ it’s probably bollocks)

You should have hammered the increase speed button on his machine then you could have given us a full report on his fitness to return When I've had calf injuries, walking on the treadmill pretty fast is fine, but things can break down quickly when moving from that back to running

It’s about maintaining the strength in the calf whilst it recovers. They do advise you to use treadmills over harder (outdoor/ hall) surfaces as part of recovery so that would be standard. It’s sideways / sharp changes in direction that will aggravate it. My A Level PE coming out there from a number of years ago haha.
hillside blue
Having read some of the previous posts about Norwood, I'm guessing this article is just bollocks. Oldham Athletic strikers "a few weeks away" from training | The Oldham Times

Be interesting if when fit (if he’s injured) he features in the squad.
