Feckin awful from start to finish with most players not giving a toot. Only Sutton, Caprice and Raglan looked interested. What a waste of time, not to mention the commentary which was feckin awful when it worked.

Nah. The three you mention were good but so were Charsley and Hammond - and as for the rest of them not being interested… tell that to Stretton, Gardner, Doro etc who all put a shift in 👍

We took a player off after 15mins.. the competition is a joke.

Its good that we're not taking it seriously. Pays some bills (Gate money from 455 on top of whatever the PL are paying us ain't bad..), gives some fringe players some game time.  We'll wait and see what the damage is to Hobson but I'd hope they'd take players off for as little as a broken fingernail...

He should be sat on the sofa at home watching Emmerdale not having a kick about with a load of kids, simple as that. If he hadn't played tonight he wouldn't of got injured.

Could have got injured instead of training today. Much worse.

Could have tripped up getting his cup of tea and hobnobs during the break in Emmerdale.

Don't bother watching the other six games then, simple.

HALLELUJAH. I guess they would have pulled him at HT if there was a risk of a suspension.

Getting himself sent off in the Reserve cup so he doesn't have to play in this competition and keeps himself fresh for the league. Bright boy.

Stretton looked far off the pace, thought he'd show more than he did tonight against kids. Stockport fans said he needed fitness, but he looked no diferent than Willoughby.

Hope he gets up to speed soon.

On the plus side a big impact from Doro, Garrick was quick and passed the ball well and Sutton was strong at centre back.

We are still short of creativity in central midfield throughout the squad and that needs to be addressed.

Doro did OK going forward,  showed some nice skill to go past the defender with a quick burst of pace. I thought once that initial pace from stand still phase was over the defender coped easily to stay with him.  Also lost concentration to let their lad run in behind for a good chance that he should have buried. So for me a mixed night.

Garrick I felt had some nice phases showing pace and passing ability but needed to remain in the game more.

Stretton looked leggy. Perhaps fitness or that's his style,  would need to see more of him to decide. Currently he's not gonna steal the show in the first team.

Hammond had 3 good opportunities to test the keeper and fluffed his lines. The header should have been buried, the two shots had he not snatched at then the keeper would have had to earn his money.

Chearsley did well as did Dan. Sutton did OK but I still maintain he's not good enough over an entire game.

Maloney isn't good enough

What game where u watching, Gardner couldn’t pass to another Oldham player and Hammond just wondered about putting in half arsed tackles. Charsley gets a pass as he’s been injured. But overall it was complete dung against a bunch of kids.
