That would be Fondop who scored two today (7 for the season) against National League opposition (rather than whatever godforsaken league Gosport are in) and got one assist (4 for the season)?

Ā

Exactly. Iā€™d take Fondop ocer Reid every day of the week and more importantly so would MM, clearly!

Yeah. Ogle plays no matter what.Ā
Ā

Do you think Hobson is better than Sutton though?Ā
Ā

I know conventional wisdom would say Hobson- but Sutton has never had a good run at centre half. I think he could be quality. Ā Either way itā€™s good to have healthy competition.Ā

Good question. I donā€™t know, would need to see more of Sutton at CB. Youā€™d like to think all that time at right back and wing back will have improved him on the ball. So he could very well play himself ahead of Hobson in the pecking order over the next few weeks.Ā

They were both open nets today, but you've got to be there to stick it in. He was a bit better on the ball today, still needs to be a bit quicker picking his passes and offloading the ball but if he can keep improving that then he deserves his spot 100%

Any of those home or away, or:

Ā

Stockport (either)

Wrexham (either)

Barnsley (either)

Tranmere (a)

Stockport (either, but preferably "a")

Charlton (a)

Newport (a) (Good night out Newport, and I can see mates..)

Crewe (a)

Wigan (a)

Whoever is most likely to get on TV. Probably BirminghamĀ

Him not being good on the ball is an utter fallacy..

I think you've maybe blinded yourself into believing he's the complete striker. His weakest attributes are his control, decision making and finishing. He has the ability to make good passes, whether he can spot them and execute them quick enough is what he needs to work on. The ball into Drummond when he rounded the keeper for example should've come a touch or 2 earlier, that would've put Drummond through centrally rather than out wider.Ā

Ā

Nope.Ā  His faults are that he snatches at chances he should score and invariably doesn't and if he's got too much time to think, he's less likely to score.Ā  He missed chances against Solihull, but his hold up play and bringing others in was spot on.Ā  There was a time in the second-half when he was down by the corner flag with three Solihull players around him and he still managed to come out with the ball. No other player we've got is doing that.

Ā

Not seen the goals from today but you've described them as "open nets".Ā  Sounds like if Norwood scores them, he's labelled a 6-yard-box predator.

Ā

Some people don't and won't give him the credit he deserves, which is fine.Ā  They're wrong, but it's fine...but they still deserve to be told they're wrong.

So is Charsley the other long term injured midfielder? Weā€™re lacking a bit in CM with Lundstrum, Conlon, Gardner, Khan & Hammond our 5.

Ā

This new fitness bloke came in and a few Trannies were sneering on social media that weā€™d soon have a load of injuries. Wonder if his arrivial has actually had an impact on players getting injured in training?Ā

Mellon saying in his post match presser that Sutton was MOM by a mile.Ā

So pleased for him.Ā
Ā

Iā€™d love one of our homegrown to nail down a spot.Ā
